three.

it's a wholesome number. it solves the discord created in the polarity of two, resulting in a new integration and wholeness. it's strange that humans can be thought of as a combination of the holy trinity of mind, body and soul. if you were to pick any two permutations, it just doesn't seem adequate.


in anthropology, the evolution of man is outlined by three distinct specises; the earth is made up of three layers from the core to the crust; hitler's empire is called the third reich; lenin died after suffering three strokes; the dog that guards the gate to hades in greek methology has three heads; the hindu religion has three gods; our visible world is three dimentional.

i guess the power of three is related to expansiveness and learning through life experiences, or to make something whole. when will i get to feel like a complete person, when will life come full circle? i'll have to find that out:
